I miss my brother...and yes, even all of his annoying ways. :)
I miss my friends and their companionship.
I miss seeing all of the friendly faces of BBC.
I miss singing in the choir.
I miss doing nursery with Linda Wadsworth...aka Anna. Haha
I miss spending time with the ladies in the jail.
I miss walking through the school lunch room or even Jr. Church and hearing "Hi, Miss Kali" or "Hi, Teacher Kali."
I miss Ladies Bible Fellowship.
I miss practicing specials.
I miss SPG meetings.
The list could go on and on. It's funny, because you don't realize how much something even as simple as a handshake by the same person every service meant to you until you don't have it anymore.
Anyways, I miss you all and am thinking about you! Can't wait to see some of you in the weeks to come!
I'm looking forward to Larbor day weekend! I wish I could be there sooner. I miss you all too! Things have happened lately that have challenged what I really believe in a way to separate me more to the Lord, and the more that happens the more I cherish my friends that are truly sold out to His working in their lives. Your presence there is a blessing for all involved in the work and it really will get easier. <3 U
ReplyDeleteIt's hard hard hard to leave friends and family and almost everything you know and are familiar with. I can empathize, I really can! It will get easier over time ...
ReplyDelete*Sigh* Yup......
ReplyDeleteI miss you guys more than you can even know! Hoping to get over there soon to see you. Love you!!!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you are feeling. I have felt the same way living on the mission field. I am not looking forward to that aspect of going back to Mozambique.... because I miss my family and my church a lot while over there. Take care
