...All The Time!!

Monday I went to work and received quite the surprise...they let me go...fired me...whichever way you prefer it. "Let go" doesn't seem quite as harsh, but it's the same thing.  Honestly, it's kind of embarressing...but I know that I gave my best so I have no regrets about it. It was just one of those situations where they didn't feel I was the 'perfect fit'. Oh well, the Lord obviously has something else in store for me. As much as I loved it, I'm relieved to have the door shut. There were some less than ideal things that I'll no longer have to deal with which is a blessing. So, for now I've taken over babysitting Braxton once again :)until the Lord opens the next door for me.

The title of the post I wrote when I got the job was God Is Good. It only felt appropriate to title this post All The Time! God Is Good...All The Time!!!

  1. nice title! it is embarassing being fired, I know, but it's not like it's gonna make or break you + you have the protection of still being at home. I look forward to seeing what's next.

  2. I've always thought that you get fired when you get into trouble on the job, and you get let go when they don't need you anymore or, as in your case, you just aren't quite what they are looking for. So I think there is a difference and "let go" does sound a lot better! Anyway, God IS good all the time, and He has something great for you!

  4. Hey Kali, I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your job, but I'm glad to see that you're still praising the Lord through it. It's times like these that the devil will definitely try to get you to turn against God. But the Lord must have another plan for you, I just know He does! :)
And yes, the book was so good! It really is a "must read!" The bravery that those men showed as they were playing [and dying], is just crazy. While others took their own lives and others tried to make it out alive, they just held the fort on board the ship. It's just amazing.
Anyway, I'll be praying that the Lord will give you the job He wants you to have! :)
